Do I need to purchase a ticket to access content?

Yes, you need to select and complete the ticket checkout process. Your access is attached to your email and you will receive a confirmation. If you cannot access your content, there are a few things you should double-check.

1. Check that you typed in the correct email. Your access is attached directly to the email you typed in, therefore a typo would not allow you to log in.

2. Ensure that you completed the checkout process. It is possible to register your email for updates without purchasing a ticket. This is a common misunderstanding. You must complete the checkout process in order to access the contact associated with the selected ticket.

3. Check to see if you are already logged in. If so, log out completely and log back in. Sometimes simply logging out and then logging back in fixes issues that you may be having with content.

When does the film festival start and when will the content be available?

The film festival starts on Friday, August 28th at 4 pm and runs the remainder of Friday and all of Saturday the 29th. Films become available at the start of the film festival. Live events have a specific time and you can check the schedule accordingly. Anyone that purchases tickets before and during the film festival will have access to their selected content (live and replays) until September 1st.  

When will my access expire?

You will have access to the content associated with your purchased ticket until September 1st. The content will be locked therefore you must watch all of your content and replays before this date. 

What should I do if I experience video buffering issues?

Many factors can go into why you are experiencing buffering. First, be patient. Some films may take longer to load due to larger file sizes. If your video gets stuck, please give it some time to load. If you get a playback error, please refresh your browser, wait a few minutes and try again. You could also try to load the video from a different device to see if it is a connectivity issue. If the problem persists please contact [email protected]
